Natural remedies to reverse receding gums

Gum Recession

Gum downturn is the restorative term portraying when the edge of gum tissue encompassing the tooth pulls back, uncovering a greater amount of the tooth, or its root. Subsiding gums can create recognizable holes, making it simple for illness making microscopic organisms develop. The indication of gum downturn by and large starts with tooth affectability.

Here are some of the following natural remedies for receding gums:

1) The use of common oils

One of the most traditional and conventional techniques for remedying receding gums is oil pulling. Floss for a few minutes with sesame oil and gradually increase the duration over a period of time.

2) Lemon

Dentists recommend squeezing a little lemon juice to reduce gum erosion. Be aware though that the acidic nature of lemon is not ideal as it encourages teeth corrosion. Hence, once per week of lemon therapy is suggested.

3) Aloe Vera Juice

It is well known that aloe vera has many different properties that is helpful for the human body. To reduce gum inflammation and receding gums, it is advisable to use the fresh juice of aloe vera. Once the leaves are squeezed, the juice should be applied directly to the gum along with the leave. For a greater effectiveness, rub your gum with the juice for a few minutes.

4) Green Tea

The presence of tannin in tea makes it an ideal fit for many health and mouth problems. More famous in East Asian countries, green tea has been used for health care alongside being a refreshment for people to enjoy. The leaves of green tea contain some of the highest percentage of tannin and are ideal for stopping receding gums. Brew a cup of green tea and sip it slowly atleast twice to thrice a day. This will help in improving gum health by restoring tightness of the gums.

5) Increase daily intake of Vitamin C Rich Foods and Supplements

Vitamin C deficiency is one of the causes of poor oral health and gum recession. A rich intake of Vitamin C foods and supplements can offset gum problems and help in improving the gum line.

6) Use of Clove and Eucalyptus Oil

Both clove and eucalyptus oil has properties that are ideal in combating gum recession. The anti-bacterial properties of clove oil prevent gum infection and allow the gum to regenerate. Eucalyptus oil has anti-inflammatory properties and helps clearing the mouth from further infections. You can floss using a few drops of clove or eucalyptus oil in warm water and practice twice a day.
